#smdaycincy One of Mashable’s “Most Well-Attended Events” Globally

Thanks to sponsors including ShareThis sharing their own music and Christiaan Todd Photography capturing imagery throughout the evening, the crazy weather could not stop the momentum of Cincinnati’s #smdaycincy event.

In fact, according to Mashable, “meetups took place in all corners of the world. Some of the most well-attended events occurred in Morocco, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and the United States, including San Diego and Cincinnati.”

During the festivities, ShareThis Founder and Chairman Tim Schigel spoke to attendees about ShareThis starting in Cincinnati and how it continues continues to expand and innovate – all while ShareThis music played in the background.

Daniel Lally walked through the various opportunities for the region’s social media community to help capture and share the 2012 World Choir Games experience.

Fail Pig Makes for Great Fun & Photos
The Fail Pig was in full force as attendees networked, learned about the World Choir Games and had some social media themed fun at Jefferson Hall. Hundreds of photos were taken by Christiaan Todd as well as some of the attendees. Be sure to check them out.

You’ll see that attendees enjoyed themselves quite a bit as CastlePoint Group gave away plenty of Fail Pig Swag to complement the photo booth’s Fail Pig props and social media paddles (seen above).

It was a great event. A big thanks to all of our sponsors for helping ensure the region celebrated in style, including Busken Bakery for their cake and LaRosa’s Pizzeria for making sure the attendees didn’t go hungry.

We can’t wait to top it next year. See you on June 30, 2013.
